The TW Series of Infrared Temperature Switches can detect the presence of hot objects in applications such as steel, glass or ceramic production. The TW switch solves these applications by detecting the infrared radiation emitted by the object and converting it into an output signal. If the radiation detected is above the programmed setpoint, the output switches.
The switch provides two independent switching outputs that are easily set using the switch’s pushbuttons and digital display. A precision Quartz scratch-resistant and optically-coated lens provides minimum sensitivity to scattered light for reliability in the harshest environments. During operation the display shows the measured value in percent of signal strength. The TW has a detection range up to 2460°F (1350°C). With a price starting at $778, the TW is an exceptional value.
